Quincy is a Mechanical Engineering senior with extensive experience in leadership, innovation, and execution. As the head of the Mills lab group and former CSSA President, Quincy has managed teams of over 200 people. With 13 patents in air conditioning design and robust cell analysis code development, Quincy excels in creating impactful solutions. His vision is to establish a fully automated factory, and he brings exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to the team.
Shawn Hu – Hardware Engineering Principal
A Computer Science and Engineering junior, Shawn specializes in Python, C++, embedded systems, and hardware control. He leads the development of the device's autofocus system, software, and lenses. Shawn's achievements include participation in the New York Business Plan Competition and securing funding opportunities through his network. His goal is to refine his technical expertise and bring the device to mass production while building his confidence in presentations.
Runhan Gu – Mechanical Design Principal
Runhan, a senior in Mechanical Engineering, leads the mechanical system design for the device. With experience in projects like Digital Twin Design using machine learning and an award-winning dog washing device prototype, Runhan combines creativity with technical expertise. His work focuses on integrating sampling and counting mechanisms seamlessly, aiming to make the device efficient and user-friendly.
Guan Lin – Business Advisor
Guan is a master’s student in Quantitative Finance with expertise in business development. With a background in managing enterprise-level fundraising, film investments, and artist management, Guan brings unmatched skills in securing contracts and sponsorships. His ambition is to help launch the product successfully and ensure the business achieves early profitability.
